Leaders will unite across the country to build coalitions, skills, and local power.

There has never been a more important time to organize locally.

ActLocal is a network of local leaders from new and established organizations committed to advancing a just, equitable and free America using local power.

In the fall of 2017, we will be holding ActLocal summits in cities and towns across the country to provide coordination tools, training, networking, and resources to our local leaders and heroes. Each invitation-only summit will feature dynamic keynotes, and master workshops. Participants will have the opportunity to elevate their campaigns, get targeted help, and network with peers and thought leaders at the event and in local follow up dinners. There are a number of ways that you can get involved. We are currently looking to connect with:

  • Leaders of progressive national and local non-profit groups;
  • Organizers of progressive local chapters or groups;
  • Community leaders and local influencers;
  • Potential speakers, training providers, volunteers, and local partners;
  • People with access to space who are willing to host.

The goal of our fall ActLocal events is to build local progressive power by:

  • Sustaining, supporting, and connecting new and established progressive leaders;
  • Identifying near-term campaigns that can be fought and won at a local level;
  • Supporting cross-movement collaboration, coordination and innovation through a shared calendar and network;
  • Creating electoral power by building awareness of local election cycles and timetables.

We believe that if work together to protect and empower our local communities and lay down the infrastructure to support systemic change, we will be unstoppable.
